• Understanding Schumpeter's concept of creative destruction before drafting a business plan
• Exploring changes and startup opportunities in the military tech industry
• Analyzing comparable companies and identifying benchmarks to set the direction of each team's startup idea

Refining ideas and building a differentiation strategy

• Applying the "four arithmetic operations" ideation method to break down and combine ideas
• Identifying market niches and points of differentiation to shape competitive startup ideas

Designing brand identity, customers and revenue model

• Building the startup's brand identity through naming strategy and logo planning
• Mapping market size and revenue model through TAM-SAM-SOM and SP Scanning exercises

Planning marketing and investment attraction

• Understanding the main types and methods of marketing and prioritizing the strategies best suited to the business
• Setting a quarterly marketing budget based on the overall business budget
• Writing an investment plan based on research into related and comparable industries

Finalizing the business plan and live IR pitching

• Reviewing the business plan developed at each stage and refining it through mentoring
• Preparing presentation slides and delivering a 5-minute IR pitch per team
• Exchanging ideas and feedback after the pitches to assess commercial viability and presentation quality
