On-Site Startup Camp at School
Teams strengthened their startup ideas and evaluated one another through mock crowdfunding
OVERVIEW
How we ran it
Schumpeter Entrepreneurship Program
A hands-on entrepreneurship program for high school students that uses the Schumpeter board game to explore entrepreneurship and creative destruction,
and guides students in turning everyday problems into startup ideas
Program Outcomes
- 15 members of the school's startup club took part.
- ★★★★★ 4.5 points
"Sharing views with my friends on different problems and working through them together really stuck with me. Rather than learning about startups only in theory, these concrete activities using an actual program were genuinely helpful."
"Whenever I thought about starting a business, I always had unanswered questions about the specifics. Through this class, the various programs and the funding activity helped me resolve those questions."

Students learn about entrepreneurship through Schumpeter's concept of creative destruction
