Startup Camp On-Site at Schools
A program in which students generate startup ideas and write business plans through Schumpeter's concept of creative destruction
OVERVIEW
How we ran it
Schumpeter Entrepreneurship Program
A hands-on entrepreneurship program for middle school students that uses the Schumpeter board game to teach entrepreneurship and the concept of creative destruction,
and guides students in turning everyday problems around them into startup ideas
Program Outcomes
- [ 2 ] classes and [ 31 ] students took part in total.
- ★★★★★ 4.9 rating
"I had never really been interested in starting a business, but this activity sparked my interest. I realized that starting a business doesn't have to be something grand. If you start by trying to fix small things in everyday life and keep building on that idea, before you know it, you could actually start a business."
"Today's class made me more interested in entrepreneurship, and I want to learn more about it. Knowing that it's about making life more practical and convenient, not just for me but for other people too, I feel proud just from doing activities like this."
