"I learned about jobs I had never heard of and jobs that interest me. Realizing that these jobs will keep developing and merging in our future society, and that many new jobs will appear, made me see that we, too, need to spot problems, fix them, and expand even our small ideas for the sake of our future."
"I learned a lot about what kinds of jobs will appear in the future and got to know more about artificial intelligence and AI. Making things together with my group along the way was fun, and I liked that I seemed to get closer to my group members."
Program Content
Students look at how jobs have changed from the past to the present and into the future, and come to understand that jobs do not simply disappear but evolve and expand.
They then apply the three principles of job creation—discovery, specialization and convergence—to generate ideas for new jobs, and use generative AI to define why each new job is needed and what it involves.
