"This class gave me a new option: instead of just fitting myself into existing jobs, I can think about a job that suits me. From now on, I'll plan my career by thinking about jobs that fit me and jobs the future will need."

"This program gave me a chance to think seriously about my future. Until now, I feel like I just went to school without any clear goal, but from now on I want to pay more attention in class and take on a wider range of activities to achieve my dreams."

Program Content

Students look at how jobs have changed from the past to the present and into the future, learning that jobs do not simply disappear but evolve and expand. They then apply the three principles of job creation — discovery, specialization and convergence — to come up with new job ideas, and use generative AI to define why each new job is needed and what it does.
